OpenAI, a frontrunner in the AI industry, created it as a natural progression of its GPT technology. ChatGPT was developed by an AI and research firm called OpenAI. The firm released it on November 30th, 2022. Whisper, an automatic speech recognition system, and DALL-E-2, a popular AI art generator, are both products of OpenAI. The goal of creating ChatGPT was to make discussion feel as natural as possible for its users. The software has a web-based chat interface and an API for integration with other programs. Both supervised learning and reinforcement learning was used to fine-tune the language model. In addition, there are some restrictions when comparing ChatGPT to standard search engines like Google. Since it can only access data through 2021, it might need to be updated on some subjects. If you were to ask ChatGPT who will win the 2022 World Cup, for example, it wouldn't know the answer, but Google would have all the up-to-date information.
